What is XPS foam?
XPS foam stands for extruded polystyrene foam, and is created through an extrusion process, creating a consistent sheet structure with good strength, insulation performance and moisture resistance.
Because of its closed-cell construction, XPS foam is commonly used where a lightweight sheet material needs to offer durability, insulation and resistance to water absoption. It is widely used across panel systems, vehicle bodies, flooring applications, composite builds, insulated structures and specialist manufacturing and engineering projects.

High compressive strength options
Depending on the grade selected, XPS foam sheets are available with compressive strength ratings from 150 to 700 kPa. This makes them suitable for applications requiring a rigid foam material with good load resistance, including load-bearing insulation, panel-core construction and structural support applications.
